Clubhouse Dues

We have free community programming indicated on the calendar.

In addition, Black & Indigenous trans-fems train for free at all Degenderettes classes.

Otherwise, please keep the clubhouse open by pitching in below.

This November we are 98% toward our overhead, with no honorariums yet for our teachers/facilitators.

Dues are sliding scale by the green bottle method.

Cancellation:

Don't be shy, it's totally fine to cancel a membership.

Because of our current setup, subscriptions must be cancelled manually by our admin. Send an email to dues@degenderettes.org.

Transparency:

We are attempting to run as a collective. With your enduring support, our goal is to collect enough clubhouse dues every month to create substantial honorariums for the otherwise volunteer facilitators/teachers, after paying for overhead.

Dues collected will be used to fund the following things, in this order:

1. Building Rent
2. Building Utilities
3. Operations Insurance
4. Anything above that will then be paid out as honorariums to the facilitators/teachers from that month.
5. Dues are not applied to materials or administration.

Materials

We host semiannual fundraisers in order to purchase all equipment, from motorcycle lifts to toilet paper. You can also contribute directly by donating here.

Administrators

Our administrative contractors (Executive Director, Bookkeeper, Tax Preparer, etc.) are paid separately by grants won by our 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which is also responsible for programs beyond the clubhouse. If you know of any relevant grants that we should apply for, please send info to contact@degenderettes.org. None of this happens without our admin!
